From September 6th to 10th, the 2024 China-Japan Forum on the Development of Electrical Materials, hosted by Xi'an Jiaotong University and organized by the State Key Laboratory of Electrical Insulation and Power Equipment, was held at the China Western Innovation Harbor.

The forum was structured around four main themes: Research and Development of Advanced Electrical Materials, Insulation and Discharge in Multi-component Materials and High performance Packaging Materials and Integration technologies, and Optimization of Special Functional Electrical Materials. It invited 28 influential experts from both the academic and industrial sectors in China and Japan to present keynote speeches, attracting numerous scholars from the industrial sector, power grid companies, research institutions, and universities to listen and engage in exchanges. The forum showcased a warm atmosphere of mutual learning and integration among industry, academia, and research in the field of electrical materials.
